For the 5,000,000,000th time: ROAD ATLANTA!

It would need modernising, but it's the best circuit in the US.

The best facilities are at Indy, but the circuit sucks.

If Road Atlanta couldn't find the financial backing, I'd like to see F1 go back to Long Beach. It's the best circuit to host F1 in the US since the Glen was pensioned off.

There are very few tracks (Indy, Daytona for example) which fulfill all the necessary criteria: 1. F1 safety standards 2. F1 track infrastructure standards 3. Proximity to a major population centre 4. Excellent local infrastructure 5. More than 2 miles long Several tracks have two or three of these criteria and are also excellent, exciting road courses...with the right investment they could be the right place to showcase F1 in the USA: Laguna Seca Road Atlanta Road America Watkins Glen are the ones I'd most like to see upgraded to F1 standards. The main problem with all these tracks is that they are too narrow...if they could be widened without changing the essential character of the track then they would be the best option. If not, then I wouldn't mind going back to Long Beach as a temporary measure. It's easily the best track that has been used in the US since the demise of the Glen.

On the west coast I would love to see Laguna Seca, but Watkins Glenn and Road America would be great also. All these tracks proably dont meet the FIA's requirements for track safety.

The best race courses themselves would probably include, Road America (WI), Road Atlanta (GA), Watkins Glen, NY(former site of the US GP), laguna Seca (southern california) or the infield road course at Daytona.

The infield road course at Daytona is probably the best bet for infrastructure (ie parking, run off areas, developed garages/pits) easy access to international travel. Plus, it is already setup and approved for FIA road racing since the 24 hours of Daytona is raced there. There are also FIA sanctioned motorcycle races there.

Bring it back to the streets of Long Beach Ca, so we can dump boring CART races.. Everyone in Long Beach wants it back races were great.. Or take it up to Laguna Seca.. USA needs a F1 race..

I'd pesonally like to see them go back to the Glen(Watkins Glen) in NY. My friend thought of Route 1 in California, but thats a little dangerous. Anywhere thats safe would be great(not San Fransisco or Indy)

Orlando Florida; specifcally Disney World. The place is twice as big as Manhattan NY, and has everything already built. Straights, long sweepers, hairpins. Parking for thousands, venders, even a gas station.

As the previous answers have suggested, LONG BEACH !!! It was there before, and it just needs to be there again. Maybe someone can convince Visa to contribute about 300 million to Bernie, and he might consider it !! I'm sorry to say this, but as many here may have noticed, I do not have a very high opinion of Bernie Ecclestone. ( Piece of ****, **** face, ***wipe, m***** ******((fill in the blanks only if you are over eighteen)) )!!! Parents, please forgive me. I just had to say it.

I do believe that they are building a newe racing facility in the Pacific North West. The Seattle area is a good place for racing..
