I am working a contract job now. Both parties aren't satisfied, They're not satisfied with the outcome. I'm equally not satisfied because the job isn't the original description..in fact FAR from.

Tomorrow is the day when time sheets get signed. Today is pretty much do or die. So my question is either way, will I at least get compensated, even the the end product wasn't accomplished..?

I was told by law they do but they could be wrong..??

If they don't pay you, file a complaint through the US Dept. of Labor.

I can't think of any reason you shouldn't be paid, though. You did the job and the contract firm is going to want to keep you as a client for future positions, provided you have represented them well thus far.

Time sheets sound more like you're an employee, not a contractor. If you're an employee, then they have to pay you for the time worked. If you are truly a contractor, then it depends on how the contract reads - if your contract is to be paid for producing deliverables and you didn't, then you might be out of luck, but if your contract is for time, then you should be paid.
