Canada's proven oil reserves were estimated at 179.2 gigabarrels (billion barrels) as of January 2007, placing it second only to Saudi Arabia.

The world's total declared reserves are 1317.4 billion barrels as of early this year, but this number is highly suspect -- it could be twice that or half that.

There is also oil that is not recoverable with current technology e.g. in the deep oceans. Further there is oil in forms that is expensive to recover e.g. the Alberta oil sands. As the price goes up it becomes economically viable. Finally there is the idea of oil from coal. It is dirty and expensive at present, though it is possible that new technologies will change that.

But, if we burn all this stuff, we'll have a far worse problem with global warming than we do now.

No one can tell you since no one knows how much oil there is. There is a number of years someone could probably quote of how long the currently KNOWN deposits of oil will last (based on current and/or projected usage) but since only a fraction of the oil that is undoubetedly in the earth's crust has been discovered, no one can give a realistic answer to that question.
