Doesn't happen to me...I ride a new Nomad with stock pipes and American Legion Rider and Kansas Patriot Guard windshield markings and American and POW flags on the rear. If anyone rolls down their window it's to smile and say "Thanks for what you guys do..." I even had a total stranger buy my coffee at the convenience store the other day...wanna know more? I do not know who gave rhand182 the bad mark, but he hit the nail on the head as to why many bikers are looked down on. Clean up your act, look and ride decent, and by the way, do not knock Harleys in general, many look as decent as any crotch rocket. And the riders are most often nice guys. A few rotten apples try to ruin any barrel. As we know, by far the majority of bike riders are decent folks, no matter how they look, the general public does not now this. (Of course, when a Harley is 'fully customized' by some, it is not really very respectable looking.

Don't you love it when you hear about a car purposely cutting off a motorcycle?
Stop with the crap! The cager's don't make any distinction between the weekend warrior on his H.D. cruiser and the hardcore that only has his bike and it's a 1968 pan head, hard tail, kicked and extended.

The only time that happens to me there is a reason.
They don't want to hear me.
Not the exhaust, but my mouth.
I have no problem informing the guy who just pulled up on my right "This is my lane! There is no turn lane there! I have every right to my own lane! You wouldn't do that if I was driving my truck!" No foul words, just clear no-nonsense english.

I never even had them roll up the window... Of course, I shower and wash my clothes regularly too.

not happened to me but think its funny when they think they can race you and sit there reving their engines, then the lights change and youre gone about a mile before they even pull off.

They only do that when I'm wearing my cowboy hat and leather thong. Must be the cowboy hat that bothers them.
