i have a honda type r .. when i first start it from cold i have problems with 2nd gear its hard to engage it .. but when the engine is warm its ok !!! can some1 tell me what the problem is thx

It's either a clutch problem or transmission problem. I would take it to a national chain transmission shop and have one of the technicians go for a test drive with you and see if he/she can give you an idea of what's going on. I am sure they would be happy to do this for free.

Age old problem. If you use oil thin eniugh to shift cold, you'll increase wear and shorten life, and if you use a heavier oil you'll prolong life and have hard cold shifting. If you bought it used, someone might have changed to a too high (thick) grade. This is one time, I would put in Honda factory lube.

Try to change oil in transmission.
