I agree mom should bow out gracefully. A man should never have to choose between women. If he loves both of them equally then he can't respect them or he loves the equally but in different ways.

Making a choice of this aspect is hard. He needs to make a list of pros for each woman and start with that. Judging a book by it's cover isn't always the way to go.

Besides, beauty is only skin deep. And cooking is always the way to a mans heart.

Seeing that I have two son's who may one day come to me for advice my hope is that I have raised them not to be shallow. Pretty is as pretty does and looks do fade with age.
Marry the one who can cook... the way to a man's heart is through his stomach.
Seriously tho this mother needs to bow out gracefully and let him make this desision on his own. He should choose one woman and marry the one who meets his needs emotionally and every other way.

Do you like one better than the other? I think this is a question for the son to answer. I am SURE deep down inside he has a preference over the other. Just remind him that it's his decision and you'll support him regardless of the choice. However, if one has a severe flaw that the mom can't stand, this may be a time to bring that up as well.

Have you ever heard the lyrics of this song "If you want to be happy for the rest of your life, never make a pretty woman your wife, so from a personal point of view, get an ugly girl to marry you"?

The moral is that she will cook for you, clean for you, and no one else will hit on her. She will be faithful to you for the rest of her life.

Mom might want to mention this to him before she "bows out." The decision, of course, is up to him, but if he respects her advice, then she should not be afraid to speak her mind.

it extremely is the universal reason. Sugar cane must be grown, then harvested, then shipped, then liquefied or boiled, then strained. a lot of steps. So does corn syrup, positive, yet transportation and raw textile expenditures are a lot less. once you're Coke or Pepsi or a baking employer, you employ huge quantities of the stuff. each and every penny counts, so that they replaced sugar with the syrup. bear in suggestions that the Coke offered outdoors the U. S. nevertheless makes use of sugar, as does Coke made in Hawaii. in difficulty-free words the continental US makes use of syrup....

the son really needs to decide this, but if he loves two women, i don't think he should be talking about marriage yet. marriage is a serious commitment and loving someone else wouldn't be healthy for the marriage or fair to either girl. he needs to sort out his feelings first- then maybe he wouldn't have to ask mom what to do

whoever he loves the most! And/or whoever loves him back the most and will make a loyal, dignified wife and mother. He shouldn't even be considering marriage if he is with two women anyway. He should not have to ask himself that question. If it is not a clear cut answer. . . neither are good enough. Thats what Mom needs to tell him.

If this man is an adult then he should be the one making his own decisions. The son should follow his heart. It should not be about the looks because they fade and it should not be about the cooking because you will only get fat. The man should follow his heart.

Mom tells son that this is HIS decision and she wishes him all the best. I don't think a man who wants his mother to make this kind of decision for him is ready for marriage at all. Mom might want to point this out to him as well.

well i would tell him that if he loves the two women equally that he shouldn't marry ether one of them because he will only love the one he marries with half a heart and the other half would be with the other woman an to truly make a marriage work you haft to love your mate with your whole heart
