I live in a rural community, population just under 5,000. But I'm about 25 minutes from the nearest city.

I'm in a rural town of 8000 and we are 100 miles from the nearest city. People don't realize when I say I live in a small town I mean it. When you have no city close to you, then you really are stuck out in the boonies.

I am also in a rural city about 3500 people, We are about40 minutes from the big city 25 from the nearest suburb!

Hawaii state population 1,200,000. And 1,000,000 of them are on this island (Oahu). Prob 15,000 in my area!
