I'd go back to the Medieval times.

The times right around the War of 1812, I would want to live some where in the Caribbean as the Golden age of Pirates was coming to end. I could go from there up to the New England Coast for the Golden Age of Whaling. it seems the perfect time period for a sailor.

Great answers here, the 60's, the time of Christ, the dinosaurs. But I would have to say, go back in time about 10 years and better spend my younger years getting financially stable and traveling the world that we live in.

I would love to go back to the Medieval times. Everything seemed so simple back then, although things were definitely different though. The way the people dressed was very neat.
From riding on horseback to your destination, having swords and bow-and-arrows as your weapons, living in small villages...To me, it seems like a time I'd love to go back to.

Hmmm? The late '50s or early '60s. The government had not yet assumed its role of Big Brother so we had lots more freedoms, the govenment told the truth about inflation (and other things), the Media reported the news (instead of trying to create it or to use "mind control"), things were much more peaceful and quiet, Illegals wasn't such a big issue, people (and countries) were much more civilized and better behaved.

I've always had this thing with World War II. I think it's because I read all those American Girl doll books when I was little, and Molly, who lived during that time, was my favorite.
So, yeah. I'd be one of those kick-butt mamas who stayed home and ran the house and stuff while the daddy was off fighting the Nazis.
