My brother is 27 years old, and very into the outdoors (hiking, camping, canoeing) and working out. He also loves the Red Sox! However - he seems to have everything he needs for all of his sports, and doesn't have much room in his apartment for anything big.

Any ideas? I'm trying to avoid a gift card but it seems like my only choice.

Last year my mom got my sister a sweatshirt for the Red Sox (b/c she is a big fan) off line. Here is a website that has stuff http://www.yawkeywaystore.com/

You can also try to get him into a new outdoors sport and get him a book on it or get a great hiking guide for him. Or just ask him what he needs, the outdoorsie types always have something that is worn a little past what they would like it to be. Throw it into a conversation, like "Hey, how is hiking going?" "---" "Is all your gear holding up the way you like it to, or are you having problems with anything?" "Why do you ask--?" ... You can tell a white lie about a friend and then make it a joke when he opens the gift at christmas. --Hope this helps.
