microcephaly and normal?

does anyone have this and is normal? my daughter was diagnosed with it at 5 months she is 11 months now and hasnt showed any symptoms...anyone know when they will show?.

Generally, the skull grows in response to brain growth. There are individuals with head circumferences lower that 2 SD and who have normal intelligence.

The final outcome depends a lot on whatever condition caused it, be it acquired (intrauterine infection, drug or alcohol abuse, etc) or inherited.
