To do a proper job, it may also be necessary to spray any adjoining panels like a fender and rear door or 1/4 panel to "blend" the color well. I have worked on vehicles off and on, and you can't always judge a price at first glance. There might be some procedure involved that is not known to the average person. Removing and painting a door might seem like an easy task, but there might be hidden factors, like the hinges might need replacing, wiring in the door that might be a problem, speakers in the door, electronic mirrors, etc. Items might have to be removed from the door in order to paint it property, and then have to be replaced.
