I read about this some years ago but cannot find any information now. The Man who started this project passed away and it was not completed. It was supposed to channel energy?

My guess is that if it was successful, you would be able to find information on it.
Although channeling energy through a structure is possible(for example, a windmill), I am sure he was delusional and probably thinking about mystical magical non-existing energy.

In Palo Alto, CA is an atom splitter that can separate atoms by using electrons at high velocity. I understand the tunnel is like a mile long. I don't know if that is what you are looking for but it is interesting. From atoms would come energy but who knows how stable.
