She died from complications from cosmetic surgery while recovering at home. She was 58 years old. The autopsy results have not been released yet.

Yes its been said that she died from complications after the surgery. An autopsy is being conducted today so by the weekend there should be a definite answer. The doctor claimed he did nothing wrong but he has had two malpractice suits filed against him in the past, so he's being investigated. Her surgery was very high-risk because of her age and current medical condition and she was getting a breast reduction along with the tummy tuck at the same time. They haven't got a response from Kanye West yet.

On Saturday, November 10, 2007, at 8:30 PM PST Kanye West's mother, Dr. Donda West, was pronounced dead due to complications from cosmetic surgery involving a tummy tuck and breast reduction procedure, which were completed at Centinela Hospital in Marina del Rey, Los Angeles. TMZ reported that Dr. West was advised not to go through with the surgery by Beverly Hills physician Dr. Andre Aboolian due to a health condition that could lead to a heart attack. Dr. West never met with the recommended doctor and had the eventual fatal procedures performed by someone other than Dr. Aboolian.

Yes Kanye's mom did die at her home after getting cosmetic surgery done on her breast and her tummy. She was previously informed from another cosmetic surgeon that he needed information from her medical doctor in order to perform surgery on her, because of some detected medical issues. He declined to do the surgery on her. She went to another cosmetic surgeon, who is very popular, he performed the surgery on her but the complications were deadly. She was in surgery for 8 hours and the surgery she had was only suppose to take 4 hours. There was something wrong then and that definitely needs to be questioned. Kanye will most likely sue because that was his mom. But a lot of times cosmetic surgeons do the job anyway hoping that the outcome be good because it involves getting paid and getting the recognition of beautifying a patient. But in this case everything failed.

Yes...she was having lipo and a breast lift....she was in surgery for 8 hours...and then he sent her straight home. I'm almost positive it was this past Sunday that she died. The surgeon wasn't certified by the board and there have been many complaints about him. Atleast three lawsuits in the past year. He also was known for his DUI's....I heard all of this info on the radio this morning... Ace and Tj show!!

Yeah I heard that the doctor did a malpractice on her and that his license is about to be revoked...how sad she died, thats why its always good to do a lot of research on the doctor who´s gonna operate you, to choose someone who´s well knowned. she should have chosen instead Dr. Robert Rey from the show Dr. 90210, he seems really professional.
