Why are liberals always trying to hold us conservatives down?

The liberal media and universities are always bad-mouthing us. if it wasn't for them, I would have been out of the trailer park years ago.

Remember, a Conservative questions why something should be changed, and wants proof the change would be for the better. And then usually wants to think on it to be sure.

He is in the tradition of, I think it was Daniel Boone, who was reputed to have said, "Be SURE you are right, then go ahead."

Good policy when you cannot see your goal and the whole path to it and the pitfalls and traps along the way clearly. In the old woodlands of the East and Midwest, as well as in modern government policies, driving on strange roads, and many other things in living life that we could mention.

Liberals say, "Go ahead quickly, just do something different from what is being done now, that we like. and if we find we made a mistake, we will figure something out later." Except later may never come if the mistake was bad!

Liberals want to silence and nullify Conservatives because the Conservatives hold them back from trying any old thing they think of, change for change's sake, change for whatever is popular, politically correct. Change at this moment and figure out later where it got us.

If the conservatives say, hold on, let's see if this change is good long term, what will be the side effects, etc., it is holding the Liberals down, and they do not like that, so when they can, they hold the Conservatives down so they get their way now and freedom to play with the fate of nations and people's lives, without let or hindrance. Or regard to the practical and especially known effects.

I cannot speak to how much tongue in cheek you speak with, however.

Liberals try to forget history, in their pursuit of the "new", which often is just a repeat of the old in fresh wet paint coat. Conservatives remember, and say we did that 20 years ago, and it didn't work out well, and the only difference is that was in blue, and this is in yellow.

Liberals are idealistic, and usually impractical, and do not want to hear "No, been tried 3 times before, and led to war and a depression and was bad every time." But cannot refute the Conservatives because they didn't learn history well, too busy improvising, and so are mad and want to shut off the inconvenient truth.

And I do suggest you have that trailer checked for FEMA formaldehyde soon, sir! May be a Liberal plot to put you down, way down, permanently!!
