She can buy you out of the house, but get a lawyer involved.

Technically there is a way but it would cost her she could buy your half in the divorce. generally an appraiser would come out to the house and then basically your wife would agree to pay half of the estimated value of the house. This is actually quite common woman ten d to get attached to a home where as a guy just wants to sell it and the memories and move on.

A legal way to force her to sell? I don't think so. Personally, I'd go see a lawyer. Get a good one!! Especially if you live in NY or on the left coast!!!

First, you need to file for divorce. Community property, she will have not choice to sell unless she can afford to buy you out. Good Luck.

if you want out of the marriage, file for divorce, all issues of community property will be resolved whether she likes it or not
