hi - i'm interior the united kingdom too. Your thought approximately going to the u . s . would not make experience. that's merely as annoying over there, if not greater durable. And there are hundreds of hundreds unemployed there - each and every thing is quite costly, (different than petrol!) and surviving financially could be complicated. you're able to additionally be not likely to get a visa or artwork enable till you're able to already lined up a activity. Your desirable plan could be to get the a point in Drama, including a pair of others in appropriate matters, like English, Psychology, and so on, and then attempt for a place in a good drama college, or a school - Birmingham has an astounding uni with a drama branch. maximum training is carried out on point, for theatre, so which you're able to could initiate there. you're able to get as lots adventure as you could at recent - connect in any college productions, community theatre communities, newbie stuff - something, by using fact they're going to ask your self why you have not have been given into it in the previous once you practice to drama colleges. you are not getting to opt for television, movie, point - all good actors can do any style of appearing, and you won't in any respect be able the place you've the money for to teach down artwork - no remember what style that's. maximum actors could artwork in 'primary' jobs in between appearing jobs - that's most of the time. very few ever earn sufficient to outlive. you're able to be certain you have sufficient skills to get a good pastime - in any different case that's quickly-nutrients joints, call-centres, pubs, and so on, and which could get very boring. you is merely not waiting to get an agent till you have graduated from drama college and have gained fairly some adventure doing point performs, short movies, student movies, and so on - all of that are the two unpaid or very low-paid. Many actors i know have been attempting to get an agent for years devoid of success - they are very selective. good success!

Stephens College for women is a conservatory in Missouri. Being a private college, it's expensive, but if you're male it's free. They can't charge males tuition if they want to remain a women's' college. While you're in the program, they'll teach you what you need to do to build your career. Also, be polite to everyone- not just those you think are in a position to help you. Thank everyone for their time- even if they disappoint or freak out on you. Arrive early for every audition or rehearsal. Keep in contact with people with periodic calls/emails/notes/letters. Do not engage in gossip; it can get so complicated it will be difficult to untangle yourself or your friends. Be yourself and admit your own vulnerabilities.
