There will be a trial. Early next year. He has two problems. One is his voice on that tape saying no one is to leave the room. That's kidnapping under Nevada law. The sentence for that can be life without parole. The other problem is the presence of the two firearms at the crime scene. Use of a deadly weapon in commission of a crime in Nevada doubles the sentence automatically. And the convicted party must serve at last 70% of the adjudged sentence before the first parole hearing. This is still the old West!

I just heard that he will probably go to trial. Lets hope the evidence does what it should do.
