It takes me more then 20 mins in the morning and after work for my car to heat up and accelerate normally. What can I do for it to heat up faster despite being an older car from '94?
Thank you-

get a tune-up and then when you start up in the morning, just start driving, taking it easy the first 5 miles, it should be to operation temperature by then... it's harder on a car to let it sit and warm up in the mornings..plus it takes longer..

As said before, it could be that the thermostat is stuck open.

The thermostat is usually on the engine, attached to the upper radiator hose. Its job is to block the flow of coolant to the radiator until the engine has warmed up.
When the engine is cold, no coolant flows through the engine, because it's closed. Once the engine reaches its operating temperature, the thermostat opens(this lets the engine warm up as quickly as possible).
If your Thermostat is not 'stuck open', you may also get a higher temperature Thermostat, that won't open the flow until a higher engine temperature is reached. Any auto store guy will know what your talking about.

Other suggestions:
--> Fresh Spark Plugs and Wires that will deliver the correct spark requirements enabling the engine to run efficient.
--> Replace the 02 ()oxegen sensor. Again, for efficiency.

(I'm assuming your getting heat, however it would help to keep it off until your ready to go. This would keep your coolant(that flows through the engine) from going through your heater core, which is another small radiator)

Change thermostat and I always put a piece of cardboard in front of the radiator in wintertime...just cut a piece big enough to block off the bottom 1/3 to 1/2 of the radiator--no more.
Remote start would be nice too...have had one on my 93 GP for 10 years.

lol!! previous automobiles, new automobiles, lol!! oil does not exchange.. lol!! come on adult men, shall we get actual.. be honest with human beings, at first, maximum folk up north run a thinner oil.. so it pumps greater handy, now only so which you comprehend as i assume maximum do no longer comprehend this, your clear out with the exception on one form of engine has a outfitted in anti drain back valve in them. so oil is placed all a thank you to the suitable of the engine, so it truly is already lubricated. it somewhat is the reason your getting all kinds of solutions approximately letting it heat up. employing a skinny oil up north like that pumps hassle-free and you have oil on your clear out, on your valves. the older automobiles had push rods yet new ones do no longer from now on, they have tappets and barely choose any ameliorations like push rods did. besides, think of approximately this.. if 2 comparable engines one starts off up and faucets before everything then quiets down and the different starts off authentic up with out noise, the two the comparable, the only distinction is on oil clear out anti drain back works and the different does not. as quickly as the oil is pumped up although the clear out, it truly is quiet. so as long as you do no longer hear any tapping noise out of your engine, you only put in kit and pass. oh btw, one man or woman commented that daddy advised them to enable it heat up, and that replaced into authentic, as oil replaced into thicker back then and required to skinny out slightly while chilly out area.

Try adding water to the anti freeze. Sounds like it could be low.
