Yes mine certainly does, I have two male cats one is 7 the other not quite a year and he gets so frazzled and upset if the other gets something before him or even if he gets it first the fact you gave the other one something too he will try to take his.
He is so territorial over food but ONLY with the other cat not humans. So I think that they can get mad, hurt, jealous, yes they experience feelings maybe not always as we define them but they have something similar i am sure.
My same one throws a fit if he is closed out of a room!! He shakes his head and you know he is frustrated and angry. It is amusing sometimes but we do not do it to be cruel, he just is not allowed in our Pantry with the food!!

I think they are more protective than jealous,if anyone comes near me they try to get in between us and if anyone tries to hug me or kiss me they growl and bark,if another dog comes close they always stand between us but if I go to pet another dog they watch us all the time.

Yes! My dog can't stand if she's not the center of attention. If my husband and I are talking, she thinks she has to sit between us. It's really sweet- she's only about 8 months old.
OH, and you can forget trying to pet the outside cat, if Sadie's outside, the puppy, she WILL get mad!

My cat was really jealous when we brought home my son from the hospital. She was use to being the center of my attention. It was heck after we brought him home until she got use to him. She loves him now and plays with him, sleeps at the foot of his bed, and follows him around. He is 2 years old now.

Yes...
My pet turtle flies into a very slow jealous rage whenever she knows I'm answering one of your questions...and then I have to flip her over onto her feet agayne, since she always ends up spinning like a top upside down on her shell...
I'm gonna have to get a bigger box for her...and put a blanket over it...she's a very nosy turtle...slow...but nosy...
