i have a quadra jet that came off an 85' 305. i am rebuilding a 69' model 350 to put back in my 85' C-10. how do i go about recalibrating the carb for my 350 that doesnt use all the computer controls and vacuum lines? any input is greatly appreciated.

See if you can trade it for a rebuilt older model. Virtually every big car from the late '60's had QJs so it should be easy to find.

The quadrajet is a great and simple carb. That said, the 3-C carb you are attempting to rebuild is a hunk of junk. It's expensive to fix and full of trouble. Do yourself a favor and get another quadrajet that does not have any electronic controls in it. Rebuild that one remembering you might need to install new jets in the inside of the carb depending on the motors needs.

The computers back then only monitored air flow and maybe air mixture. I would think you can plug the vaccuum lines too since you won't be using them. why not spend the 300 and get a double pumper on it? You'll love the performance increase.
