Bar's Stop Leak or old timers would use egg white or oatmeal flakes....once car is warmed up, shut off the car and pour some in and it will get drawn to the leak, expand and plug it....won't hold very long or under high pressure....have to leave the rad cap off. Sometimes, draining the coolant below the leak and pinching off or soldering the small tubes around the leak can be a good repair also..then refill with coolant. Sometimes, sticking a toothpick in the leak hole will plug it up...the wood expands. Some old 4-wheelin tricks.

bars-leak will help, but rember that the cooling system is under pressure and by turning your 1/2 way to off you can run the car with out building up the pressure and keeping the coolent in the radiator. under pressure the leak will piss out quicker, but there is no real fix other than having a radiator shop do a permant repait

Add radiator stop leak to the radiator, but if you have big crack in plastic tank, that wont help.Only replacement, not that expensive by the way.

One suggestion would be to use BAR"S radiator leak......follow directions and it should work for you unless the leak is really severe
