I want to put up my Christmas tree! Hubby says it's too early!
I say it's not! He's not here and he will be out for a while! Should I go ahead and put it up while he's gone..lol...he's not the type to get mad...lol...But I am ready for it be up...plus it gives me somethig to do! Do u think I should put it up?

Do you know how long it takes a Christmas Tree to severely dry out and become a serious fire hazard? If you don't, then wait a couple weeks...or be prepared to buy another tree.
Anything earlier than three weeks before Christmas and the needles will stiffen and the tree will start turning brown. The green can last a while with some trees, but it will look unhealthy.

Wait until the weekend after Thanksgiving. Why risk an angry hubby which may jeopardize a really nice Christmas gift!

I wouldn't put it up until AT LEAST after Thanksgiving is said and done - but probably not even before December, really. I would say it is a bit early for that.

I think anytime after Turkey Day is fair game.
There are some people in my neighborhood that already have their Christmas lights up on their houses! Now that is just too much.
