Mose made a new friend in the Ukraine over the internet. How does Mose raise $25,000 quickly in order to bring her to the United States to make her his bride. Is this too much for a dowry? Mose's assets are not currently liquid due to investments in new beet farming machinery.

Owen's answer makes Mose sad. Mose always treats women with respect. Especially pretty Ukrainian ones with child bearing hips and sturdy forearms.

Can you really put a price on love?

Have you considered selling any internal organs? I hear that there is a high demand for the human appendix. You should check it out on ebay.

Maybe you could sign up to partake in studies for experimental drugs?

I wish you the best of luck in your "поиски любви" ("quest for love" as spoken in the entincing and romantic Russian language).

You know, Mose, I'll tell you how people handle this kind situation up here in the Northwoods.
Spaghetti dinner. (I have seen sausage dinners too, but I tend to steer clear of those.)
In your case I would suggest beet dinner. You prepare your favorite beet dishes (one of mine is pickled beets) and charge the community per plate.
While Kate's answer is very wise, my way there are no scars which may frighten your bride come the wedding night.
Please let me know where you register.
Good luck.

I will be your bride for $15,000. The remainder of what you would have paid for "Anastasia" can go back into the farm.

Mail order bride??/ I wouldn't recommend it! Nowadays most of them will kick you to the curb once they are legal over here... I wouldn't do it - especially not if you have to pay for her!
