I'm with you, I hate the mud slinging.

I feel like those who do it must be really desperate If they think that the only way to prop up a candidate is to say nasty things about another candidates.

I agree with Gregory F go to both Democrat and Republican sites and see which issues mean the most to you.

Stay away from anti Democrat or anti Republican sites before you make a decision, some of the sites people are hawking are just that especially if they SAY which party they are voting for.

Presidejt Bush already has served three terms, if ya take into account his dad!, Hillary makes it this time around she'll be heading for her third term as she was president from 92' thru 00'! I'l pick the ONLY constitutionally based candidate STANDING for our executive office at present, Ron Paul.

#1. You can not serve more then 2 terms as president, so Bush is out (Thank God)

No one has really impressed me yet, however, Personally I would take experience over anything else(it's easy to say you can do a job if you have never been in the company before) ,

Things were not this screwed up in the 90's ... We had a surplus instead of a deficit .. gas was pretty reasonable, and the people I know all had jobs and mortgages they could afford.

That's why I lean towards Democrats, however, if I saw anyone who really impressed me I would vote for them in a minute no matter which party they belong to.

Sometimes when I have trouble choosing I think more of which people I want to vote against rather then who I want to vote for ..

If you are not affiliated with a political party may I suggest going to the Democratic and Republican web sites and reading each party's Platform. Listen to the debates, listen to what the candidates from each party are saying about issues that concern you and vote for who you believe can effectively lead our Country. That person, Democrat or Republican will need the ability to effectively work with members of the other party or we will have gridlock. Is this a great country or what?

My Top 3 choices are:
1] Mike Huckabee
2] Fred Thompson
3] Rudi Gullianni

And BTW...I think "W" has done a good job.
1] His Tax cuts have helped the economy.
2] Stuck to his guns on Iraq...and now the mainstream News is actually reporting some possitive news out of Iraq.

Any Democrat would just want to tax us to death...and curl-up and play dead on the War on Terror.

Not to mention make several million lawbreaker legal citizens.
