I'm planning a trip to England (flying into London) for 7 days. What are some great things to do that dont cost a lot?

The National Gallery and The British Museum are FREE !!!

Well of course it depends on your interests. The museums and art galleries are a must in London and admission is free
apart from special exhibitions. If you like nature and wildlife we have splendid parks and open spaces. E.G. Regents Park, Richmond Park and Hampstead Heath. You can experience the wealth of different architecture in London simply by walking and looking. To save money on transport
costs ensure you buy a Visitor Travel card prior to arrival in England or if you don't manage this buy a One Day Travel card each day (valid on the Underground, buses and suburban rail system)- Price £6.70 - less if you don't require all London coverage. An all zone card will take you out as far as places such as Richmond Park and Hampton Court Palace.

Most museums are free. In London, The British Museum, Natural History Museum and the Science Musem should not be missed.
