only if he keeps his nose out of the justice departments affairs...

for example...

don't apply political pressure to the new AG, to drop ongoing investigations into NSA wiretapping.

The white house applied political pressure to the former USA's to drop investigations against republicans, and pursue investigations against democrats before the election. That is not only un-ethical, but illegal. Alberto Gonzalez had to resign because the White House was influencing him to create a more Republican friendly Justice department..

Mukasey is another Bush admin nominee...so I really don't see how it's going to be any different. It's just a new guy to place the blame on.

A Bush honest? This is far from his character don't you think! lol the only way to restore dignity to the U.S and the White House is to get the idiot out and take his money away-all of it!

interesting question ... since all the US attorneys were politicized in 1993 by Bill Clinton it may be a fairish long task.

We'll see if Hillary (should she be elected) has another slaughter of the politically undesirables in 2009.
