i was in the town centre and surprisingly saw lots of women in very tight jeans; skinny jeans which were like glued to the legs. My question is how the hell do you women get into skinny jeans and how do you get out of skinny jeans? i remember as a kid putting on long socks which were small (i started growing out of them). Is it actually worth the hassle? lol

Cliff, they usually stretch. That's how we fit into them.

Rules for plus-sized girls who want to wear skinny jeans: 1) Make sure the top/shirt you're wearing ends mid-thigh. That will make your butt look smaller. 2) Dont wear a belt around your hips. It will draw unnecessary attention to your tummy. You could wear a waistbelt though just below your bust. It will enhance the narrowness of the higher part of your waistline which is usually the narrowest and give you a hint of a hourglass figure. 3) Wear any shoes which are high heeled. Flats make the booty look bigger. Only petite girls can wear flats with skinnies. Peep toe pumps will look awesome. 4) Next time if you're going jean shopping, I would suggest buying drainpipe jeans. They'll suit you better because they aren't fitted all the way down. 5) Wear a shirt with a V-neck. It gives the illusion of making the bust look smaller. 6) Make sure your jeans aren't skintight skinny though.

I wear skinny jeans, and I love them. However, I do not wear them skin-tight. I get skinny's that fit. Not too loose, and not too tight; just right. That's the only way to wear 'em in my opinion! Oh yeah, and I'm not chubby either. I'm a size 5, 110 lbs. thankyou very much.

They have lycra in them, so cling to the legs like leggings (to a lesser extent). They'll also have a wide zip opening, so they can 'roll' off easily. Modern technology!! Woman are well used to putting on and removing tights, it is basically the same technique.

Back in the 80s, you'd have to lay on the bed to squeeze into your drainpipes! And those days it was for boys too - I'm glad times have changed.

They are easy to get on because most have a bit of stretch in the fabric so they look tighter than they actually are. I do find them a pain to take off as they are so close fitting around the ankle and I end up having to peel them off so they end up inside out.

Um....skinny jeans have been around for like a year now. So *Newsflash!* theyre popular right now. But skinny jeans are cuter than flare jeans than make your feet look huge, and the alternative is boy jeans....eeew! But some people wear straught leg and boot cut jeans too, like me.

only about 10% of the women wearing tight jeans look good in tight jeans. some are too skinny and the rest is a testiment to the strenght of the fabric

i'd be prepared to put money on most of those jeans being a normal cut with fat women squeezed into them. if you're anything above a UK size 10, you should not be wearing skinny jeans unless you are exceptionally tall.

I am a size 12, and i know full well that i look terrible in skinny jeans! hence i wear looser jeans so that my top half doesn't look so out of proportion.

Not sure, but I know that I don't like the way they look on any of them! I guess I'm a hangover from the Levi's stage, fitted in the hips and butt, and boot cut.
