I'm wondering if Barbara Walters has noticed that more persons are watching "The View" now that Rosie O'Donnell has left the show. Adding Whoopie turned out to be good TV, she's funny but not as abrasive as Rosie. I've noticed she's got even better now that "Young Elizabeth" is on maternity leave. Does anyone know if the Nielsen Ratings for "The View" have gone up during the latest survey (post-Elizabeth)?

As a male viewer, I was really turned off by Rosie (too gender preference impaired and too liberal)......but I'm even more turned off by the naive and ignorant Elisabeth H (too conservative, too idiotic for words).

November is an important month for Nielsen Ratings. Hopefully the diaries will tell the story, when the votes are counted. (Ours is one of those "Nielsen Families" occasionally...most recently last May).

I won't watch the show when the young bimbo Elizabeth returns......although I'll tune in once a month to see how Sherri's weight loss is progressing......she is turning into one hot mama!!! ;-)

I hope the ratings have improved with Elizabeth gone, not that that'll change anything. I think Barbra will still keep her on the show. Barbra kept Star Jones around 7 or 8 years too long.

It may surprise most right wingers that although Joy and Whoopi are "liberal" they don't always agree and Whoopi has stayed pretty neutral and has done a great job as the moderator. It's just so much more pleasant without Elizabeth, I don't know why there HAS TO BE a conservative on the panel. Fox and Friends is conservatively biased, why can't the VIew be liberally biased?

They're having fun finally! Elizabeth politicized EVERYTHING to death, she always injected some political angle in EVERY topic. Please stay in Arizona Elizabeth and raise your nice little robotic republicans.

I don't know if the View is better now that Elizabeth is gone but I do think it is better with Whoopie Goldberg (Caryn Elaine Johnson).
I mean, first we have Barbara Walters, reason enough in itself to watch the show, but now we have Whoopie to boot!
Whoopie is one of my all time favorite actress, comedian, radio DJ, author & singer.
I absolutely love the idea that I can now see her on TV every week day morning!
Like Ms. Walters, Whoopie is a true American treasure.

It seems less tense without E, and I am not embarrassed for her now that she is not there, but Whoopi and Sherri seem to agree to disagree quite a bit lately and I am wondering if or not, they really mean it....Sherri is not the brightest in regards to educational matters but does seem to have a handle on common sense or emotional issues at times...Whoopi is a very articulate person, seemingly having her facts straight, but has shown signs of a bad temper...so one day she will explode....Barbara is very eloquent, but seems to act childish a lot of times, something I did not realize until Rosie was there and she is on more...Joy, I like her, but she needs to settle down against Bush and The Democrates in general...there term is almost up and sure, let it be known only to vote Republican and otherwise leave the others alone otherwise she may end up getting votes for the Dem's 'cause everyone gets fed up with Bush Bashing....Elisabeth is either good or bad on any given day.

I don't watch the view, but based on what I've heard about Elizabeth, I'd say it has to be better.

Plus, I've always been a fan of Whoopie. Remember the sitcom she used to star in? Too bad it was canceled.

I like Elizabeth. Whether or not I agree with her or anyone else on the View with Elizabeth, you actually do get varied perspectives. And now that Rosie's gone, I find even Joy is easier to take.

I liked it with Rosie, it was boring beofre her. I can not stand E H and hope she and her 2nd string hubby stay in Ariz. Whoopie makes a good moderater, keeps them from talking over each other. Sherri is funny, not too bright though.

There seems to be a better tone to the group with Whoopie.
The women seem to behave better in the sense that they don't over talk one another or argue as much.
Elizabeth is too high on her horse and needs to be knocked down a few notches.
