It's 1.6 million Iraqis dead btw.

No that is not proof about the surge... that is proof that this war for no reason is immoral.

What I don't understand is where is the morality of my fellow American citizens... the surge did nothing. What has happened is the US military started late last Spring paying Sunni tribal militias fuel, cash and weapons if they would fight Al Qaeda. They did this in the Anbar Province which was 99 percent Sunni so it was not a big deal.

BUT since it worked, they decided to keep up with this in other mixed areas... which has resulted in the US military taking sides agains the Shia. This is why Iran has gotten involved... being mostly Shiite there.

My pt is what is winning... destroying an innocent nation, dividing the ppl then arming one side to kill the other... is that winning?

WOW that many since the start of the surge? I didn't know that! What news program did you hear that on?

Let's see 1.2 million Iraqis killed. And were those killed by US forces or someone else? Oh and all those didn't happen since the start of the surge did they? Where did you get those figures from? 1.2 million. Thats about equal to the average number of unborn children killed annually by abortions since the start of Roe V. Wade isn't it?

If we pullled out tomorrow would that stop the millions of unborn children from dying because someone was too irresponsible to use birth control?

it quite is a pity that PQD made this form of generalization with out even finding out what Manxbiker exchange into conversing approximately. i'm a customer of theLotter and have won all of my wins (no longer a jackpot yet, yet quickly). I honestly have additionally reviewed the community policies with regard to the acquisition of actual tickets interior the U. S., and as long because of the fact the fee ticket is honestly offered interior the state it quite is bought and would not flow the border, it quite is eligible no count the place the fee ticket holder is from. the way theLotter works is they purchase you the genuinely fee ticket which keeps to be interior the region it exchange into offered. you are the legal proprietor of the fee ticket and have recourse to declare the prize no count what. it quite is often clever to check all online web content intently. it is acceptable to any web site advertising something from footwear to lottery tickets. Be clever and you additionally could be a winner.

The surge is working. You are just upset cause your party is not getting the credit for it.

Your question is also biased and factually incorrect.

Where is your source for 1.2 million dead Iraqis?

Please list it so we can get to the bottom of this.

Oh that's right. You made it up.

Was that a Stetson you pulled those numbers out of? Fewer US deaths are the proof that the surge is working. Fewer insurgent attacks on innocent civilians is further proof. Bringing the US closer to victory is the object, and it is being met.

Even if one goes by the premise that the surge *IS* working- and that's highly debatable, but bear with me for the sake of argument here- it still begs the following question: how long will those extra troops be stationed in Iraq, or is the plan to keep them there forever?

More importantly "was the war necessary"..... If NOT , who will be held responsible for those 1.2 million deaths and 4 million refugees.
