take a little 4 port router with you. That would be the easiest way, hands down.

You could set ip ICS or Internet connection sharing on one of your laptops and basically it would be one PC logging on to the net and then the othe logging in to the other PC and then routing out the the net, some what like a router or gateway of sorts.
essentially youll need to have one PC connect over a wire and the other over wireless to make it happen...look at the link below as he explains it pretty good.

Invest in a low cost wireless router. The router would act as your connection, then both your laptops will connect to your router. Make sure you set up some basic security, otherwise the other guests will end up surfing on your dime.

Try connecting to wireless, sometimes u can get wireless conections open, they may b risky, but if something is free it comes with it's down falls.
Look for open connections and try connecting would be my bet.

This isn't sarcasm but seriously stay at different hotels. (well i guess it depends if you are in the states or not) but certain hotels (Hilton Garden Inn) are designed for business travelers. Free internet.

use one of the computers as a gateway for the other so that there is only one computer visible on the network. your computer cannot go entirely invisible but the other computer can as long as it is connected indirectly to the network through another computer.

take your own router with you. They are resonably priced. You can get them at best buy etc.
