Who gets to be the one to do it? How are these things decided?

As there are a number of very serious issues/threats plaguing the United States at the moment...NOW is the time to stand up and be counted !!
If we (Americans) don't set aside partisan politics in favor of a UNITED States, we, like many great civilizations before us will perish in the not too distant future.
I pray that is not too late already !!

There is usually a leader, a popular figure. It's just like when our returning soldiers returned from the war, and were being denied medical benefits, Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds dedicated the concert in Times Square to that cause, and the government acted. Martin Luther King did the same for Civil Rights. Why no one has spoken up yet about everything else is beyond me. It's probably because this government needs a complete overhaul.

They should of said it long ago, but it people get too comfortable and live in a denial bubble. They think it can't happen to me. Just think of the Holocaust, how many people could of been saved if people in Germany and the surrounding countries in the 30s stood up and said "We've had enough of you Hitler." It's no different now. Some people do stand up because they have little fear, others want to stand up but are too afraid and others think since it does not effect them directly then it is not their problem. When will a nation stand up and say enough? They will when it is too late and realize there is nothing left of their nation...that is the sad truth. That is how I see it.

Its going to take more than just one it will take a nation of people to say enough is enough. When the people are tired of pulling that little red wagon and the light bulb comes on ... wake up world...

Until we get an alternative political party I think we are all still doomed. Either that or mass emigration, vote with our feet.?
