Most wiper arms from the pivot point upward today have a U shaped 180 degree hook on the end. It's always easier if you sit behind the wheel with your wipers operating in the slow position. Time the wiper blades at or near the longest end upward of their stroke. Quickly turn off the ignition system. Your goal is to park the blades as close to the fully swept position as you can. It's the easiest position to remove the blade and blade frame. Lift the blade fully off the windshield. If you look closely, there is a button beneath the steel flat blade arm at the very end This button is at the very center of the blade but underneath the steel arm. The darn slider button is small but it must be slid toward the bottom of the windshield less than 1/8 of an inch. At the same time with the button is pushed down pull the wiper blade toward the piviot point of the wiper arm. The entire blade and frame slides downward and off.
Do the reverse when installing the new blades. Make sure the bayonet in the center of the new blade is pointing toward you then slide it on the steel wiper arm with the center plastic bayonet facing the base of the windshield. The blade and frame slides straight on the U shaped hook, no button to press untill it's time to change them again.
Big hint: Any automotive parts store will do it for you. Especially if the customer is a lady. Do I ever get help He*l no. I'm too old and surely not good lookin.

Yes, every make & model of car has its own size. Ask the guy behind the counter at the auto parts store to look it up on the computer (or look it up yourself in those books that hang from the shelves).
Most autoparts stores will put them on for you at no extra charge, and you can watch them do it. They usually just snap on or off.
