No. I do not own an electric can opener. I think they are a waste of counter space, for me, since I eat very few canned foods. I can go for weeks without needing to open a can of food. I have a hand crank opener.

no whats the point? takes up way to much counter space. also, u can buy a good hand one. and they open any size cans. a lot of electric can openers don't. plus, arn't we suppose to conserve energy?

Yes I do, because the manual ones SUCK! I can never find a manual can opener that actually works. lol
I've never had a problem with my electric one.

Everytime i but one they work great, for about 2 days, then they break. So i go out and buy a hand can opener, it works great, for about 4 days, then breaks...

no i don't own one..i own the hand can opener that leaves no edges..those special one..very easy to open a can without cutting yourself.

Yuppers, and I love it. We have the space maker one so it takes literally no counter space...They aren't that expensive either, you can grab one for $20 at Target...
