How come we're able to transport every product and every bit of information around the world?

and yet we are unable to transport knowledge equally over the world?

In 1967, Marshall McLuhan wrote, “Data is information, information is knowledge, and knowledge is power.”
What amazes me is how much big business can profit from digital information, which is a bunch electricity bouncing around... (as opposed to a product being made)

We can transport it. However, it requires a willing recipient.
