She's not a like a friend friend, but I know her and she thinks she's a fairy. She went up randomly to someone and said, "you're a rainbow fairy!" and she claims her mum is a witch. Admittedly, we are quite mean and shout "fairy" at her, but we're trying to get through to her that fairies aren't real, the hard way. She embarrasses herself with her dress sense (which, may I add, is extremely extravagant...in a bad way...) and me and my friends don't know what to do with her. What can we do to get through to her that she isn't a fairy?

She gets bullied already, and even though we do actually leave her alone, it's kind of getting worse and we can't get her help or she denies everything or says aher fairy magic can sort it out!

Why do you guys care so much what she does? When I got older I realized some of the stupid crap I had done to people was so mean and I feel ashamed now. Maybe she has had a really hard life an this is how she copes with it. I don't think that shouting things at her is going to help her through this weirdo phase anyway. Just leave her alone and if she is bugging you then go do something else. But don't overestimate your importance in helping people along in self-realization. It's not your job, work on yourself.

Well, I suggest letting her get on with it, nothing anyone can do to stop her. She will realize in her own time that fairies are not real but yet leave her to her imagination
