When President Bush presidency is over on January 20, 2009, it will be a sad day for America and the World. Bush is a True American who will be missed by All Americans for his hard work and dedication of service to our country and he will be missed by people all over the world for being a great humanitarian. If his brother John Ellis "Jeb" Bush became the 44th President, I would be insured that Bush's legacy of Hard World, Prosperity, and Success would be continued for Four More Years.

kegan_80,

George W. Bush IS A HUMANITARIAN. He brought freedom and democracy to Iraq with Former Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Tony Blair when the United Nations sat back and did nothing for the Iraqi People. Bush has also brought freedom for men and women in Afghanistan and is a man who is respected by both men and women all over the world.

Depends on who's elected, but for the most part I will be relieved.

Relieved that the Bush Derangement Syndrome will eventually stop. Relieved that the political ignorance in the Media, Hollywood, and here will be less visible. But I'll miss the tax cuts if a Democrat is elected.

Overjoyed, the nightmare that has been this extreme fascist govt for eight years will be over. Hopefully on the 21st both he and Cheney will indited as war criminals for the fact that they allowed and authorized the use of torture not just by the CIA, but also at Guantanamo and Abu Graib. As for your assertion that Jeb will be the 44th president. He has said that he won't. Actually Barabara Bush, W's mom wanted him to run in George's place originally, but it didn't happen. And it won't. Our next president, who will be a Democrat is going to have spend at least 2yrs. just fix the mess that Bush left. Then the world will be a happy place again. Bush is not a humanitarian, he screwed the Katrina victims, is going to leave Iraq in shambles and has done more to destroy America's respect in the world than anything else. He is a failure as president and as a human being.

You ask and answer your own question. I frankly don't care about your opinion. I didn't ask for your opinion but you did ask for mine.

George W. Bush is the WORST president the US has ever had and may have for another 100 years. Quite frankly the majority of Americans and people around the world will be elated at the fact that his term is over and he can't run again. As far as Brother Jeb, he is not running and so your troll question really is irrelevant.

I will be hopeful that we get a president who can fix all the terrible things that dubya did to this country, e.g. The war, the budget, the loss of civil liberties

These are things that all need to be corrected.

It will take someone with skill, intelligence and integrity to get this country back on track.

I will hope that it can be done.

You obviously didn't poll ALL Americans. I will not miss him. Good riddance I say. I hope that the next President will work on getting the troops home and actually represent the best interests of ALL Americans, not just the rich.

It all depends on who wins the election. I will feel relieved if Obama is elected, worried if Hillary is elected because vitriolic Republicans may prevent her from doing her job, and extremely worried for our democracy if Giuliani or Romney is elected because they are true authoritarians whose idea of a constitutional democracy is very very different from that of the founders.

I'm saving an expensive bottle of champagne for the occasion. Presuming he hasn't started World War III and vaporized both us and the expensive bottle of champagne by then.
