Low Unemployment - Yes unemployment rates are low, but the amount of money Americans bring in has dropped dramatically. We have lost the high-paying technology and manufacturing jobs and replaced them with low-paying jobs at Big Box stores.
Low Taxes - We are spending far more then we bring in because of these low taxes. Cutting taxes during a time of war is like you personally taking a lower paying job and buying a more expensive house. Our national debt is WAY out of control.
Low Inflation - Just wait til the end of the year when the higher gas prices and weak dollar cause our inflation rates to sky rocket.
No Attacks Since 9/11 - I would feel safer if President Bush would have finished the job of capturing Al-Qaeda and removing the Taliban in Afghanistan instead of going on a personal crusade to defeat an enemy that was contained.
Now all of this being said....it will not be any better if Hillary gets elected. Time for a third party that cares about smaller government, low taxes, fiscal responsibility, national security and the protection of the Bill of Rights (like what the Republican Party once was).

Given that the US had not been attacked here more often than once every 8 years, no attacks in 6 years isn't remarkable.
Bush's policies have, however massivly increase the number of terrorist attacks world-wide. The Madrid and London bombings, to name just two, were in retaliation for Iraq.
I suppose you're one of those people who don't care how many people are murdered as long as they aren't Americans, but most people are HUMAN BEINGS, not heartless, brainless brutes. You might consider becoming human yourself.
Low taxes? People who make little money did NOT get their taxes decreased. Only the people with all the money got their taxes decreased. This is part of why our deficit has ballooned to the point that we'll never get out of debt.
Why do you hate your own children, and their children, and all of your (real or potential) descendents for the forseeable future? Again, you might want to consider becoming a human being.
We are now a terrorist organization: we engage in mass murder, torture, and rape as our official policy. You may consider that an improvement, but, again, no human agrees. Ceasing to be the biggest, most powerful, and most brutal terrorist organization the world has ever known would be an improvement.

When was the last attack prior to 9/11 on American soil? Oklahoma city in 1995, but that was a registered Republican, NRA member and an American citizen who attacked us then. Does he count? Just because we haven't been hit again doesn't mean they aren't planning something.
Unemployment and inflation are both partially controlled by the Federal Reserve, not Bush or the Republicans. If the Fed raises interest rates jobs are cut unemployment increases and inflation will decrease. Whereas if the Fed lowers interest rates businesses hire more and unemployment decreases, but the chance of inflation increases. Or so we're told. I just find it hard to believe that the only way "expert" economists can stem off inflation is to keep millions of Americans out of work. Keeping millions of Americans out of work also keeps downward pressure on wages and benefits, 'cause God knows we don't need wages and benefits to increase in the US! (

I disagree. I live in Taxachusetts. My taxes have increased. Inflation is very much back in the picture. Everything has increased. (groceries, gas of course, housing is still very expensive, unemployment is understated (some people gave up or are in jobs that pay less than what they used to make).
Some jobs created were all government jobs.
The Republicans are good at diverting people's attention.

When Clinton left office we had not been attacked in nearly 8 years, we had low unemployment, low taxes, a balanced budget and we weren't in a prolonged war that we should have never gotten into in the first place. Home foreclosures were not at record levels, real income was not flat, gas was a third of the price, the dollar was stronger and we had greater respect around the world. What have the republicans done right?

Under Bush .... lied about going into Iraq. Can't account for billions upon billion of dollars sent to Iraq. Stock market is falling! No health care for poor kids. No inspecting of toys by the Bush administration. Under his administration he got most of the world to hate us.
Thousand of layoffs from the automakers. US boarders are not being inspected. The housing market is going to pot. How will all the republican candidates who thinks like Bush improve things?

Low inflation? Give me a break. I know what the "official" CPI is saying, but I also know what's happening to costs of sort of essential things like gas, food, medicine, and education.
The Democrats would probably just spend even more ridiculous sums of money, hide inflation behind phony CPI numbers, and claim the same sort of "financial victory."

What about the Anthrax attacks in the mail?
or the recent bombing of the Mexican Consulate in NYC?
