+ German Pope +
The Pope speaks German because he was born and raised in Germany.
Pope Benedict XVI, in addition to his native German, fluently speaks Italian, French, English, Spanish and Latin, and has a knowledge of Portuguese. He can read Ancient Greek and biblical Hebrew. http://www.usccb.org/comm/popebenedictxvi/benedictfacts.shtml
At the end of his speech on Christmas 2006, the pope delivered Christmas greetings in 33 languages. http://www.catholicnews.com/data/stories/cns/0507335.htm
As a teenager and young man, Pope Benedict XVI was drafted into the Hitler Youth and the Nazi German Army just like every other non-Jewish German male. He was not given a choice.
The Pope is not and never has been a Nazi. He unfortunately grew up in a country ruled by the Nazi party.
Every draftee into the Hitler Youth and the Nazi German Army was not a Nazi.
Thank God that you and I live in a very different world that the Pope did in 1930s and 1940s Germany. Or do we?
With love in Christ.

Mussolini formed the first Facist party, but it's platform , at first, amounted to little more than anti-communist thuggery.
However Hitler became an admiror of the Italian facist party's use of national symbols, their internal discipline, and most especially their para-military arm, and incorperated all those elements into his National Socialist Party.
This is historical fact, not a bait & switch.
None of this obscures another historical fact, that the current Pope was a member of the Hitler Youth, as were all children in the 3rd Reich (excluding those who were jews, roma, or other so-called undesirables).

The pope speaks German because he is German. Italians speak Italian because they are Italian. Anybody else can choose to learn a language if that is what they want. Fascism is not purely Italian either, it refers to all right wing dictatorships/totalitarian regimes. And the rest of your question is utter nonsense.
