Married for 10 years, we were in a rush to get married so, he checked single on the marriage form. Later found out he was married while in the military & suppose to be divorced. Is my marriage legal or can you get into trouble for filling form out wrong...Need to know!

If he was legally divorced by the time you got married and accidentally checked single instead of divorced, then you shouldn't have a problem.
If he was just separated from his previous wife, and the divorce wasn't legal yet, the your marriage is probably not legal. Just look at his divorce papers. If the date on the paper is after you got married, then you aren't married.

Unless he was legally divorced from his first marriage...your marriage to him is not legal.....He falsified a legal document and definitely can be in some trouble.. I am assuming that he is not the one to admit to the first marriage...so at the very least he lied to you.....by omission....

If he never divorced the other woman, he is wrong. Better get a lawyer..Military men! Ha! Haven't seen an honest one yet!
