Generally you wait until the grass is at least 3 inches long, so I would go ahead and mow now. Not sure what the weather is where you live, but I think you've probably got enough fert on it already - as it may soon freeze/snow. Should be good to go in spring with an application of fert around March.

Unless it starts flopping over wait until spring to cut.Wait until spring to fertilize. Grass just won't ingest it if it is cold. Fertilizer might even stunt it from going into a winter mode. Scots has a winter fertilizer. Maybe not for new grass. You can use lime.

it is the place interpreting the instructions enables. The bag could say what number sq. ft the bag is sweet for, and you prefer to seed it at that cost. Your backyard will not bypass from bare floor to a putting green in 3 days, especially circumstances you're able to provide grass time to fill in, as greater blades arise and it propagates itself right into a community. examine THE BAG. in case you tousled, do exactly it back on desirable of what's there and water it in properly..

leave the grass alone... do not put fertilizer down, this will scorch it. grass slows to a standstill this time of year... if we get a few really dry days then give it a number 4! just the ends to tidy. wait till spring and new growth. then only feed in march, april after ast frost has gone. you will have no lawn otherwise! try not to walk on it either. its still a baby, till next year.

Go ahead and cut, remember to only take a third of sward off each time you cut, make sure your blades are sharp, as you don't want to tear the new growth.
