squeezing into outfits that are clearly too small? I mean is a form of vanity to NOT buy a bigger or at least the right size?
Please, I'm not picking on any particular sized girls because I see 'skinny girls' do this as well. One of the waitresses where I work, I swear probably wears jeans that are meant for a 12 yr old and believe me, it doesn't flatter her, if anything, it makes her look lumpy. As I said, no offense, maybe it's a guy thing, but I like my clothes baggy, comfy.

I hear you Steve C, but even then, if they bend over or slouch, well they get rolls that they wouldn't normally have. Tight clothes can only be so tight, man.

I agree with you on this one.

I know some folk who do this!! It never looks good, but then beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Some people will wear what makes them feel good, no matter how it looks. But sometimes you just have to say something.

Some people may dress for whatever the trends are, or maybe they put on weight and are in denial. But you're right, some people will resist buying a certain size, and if they can sqeeze into the smallest size possible then they will certainly try it!!

It's not so bad now since it's winter, but during the summer sometimes I look at a person and think "surely you KNOW that doesn't look good?!?!?!?!?"

I agree. Some outfits make someone look fatter than they actually are because the skin gets pushed some where else like with tight jeans the belly gets pushed over the top. I have some jeans that are my size but little on the tight side and they do do that a bit. Also when some people wearing tight jeans bend over, half their crack falls out.

I have seen women that wear stretch pants that are way to tight and they have roll on roll it's not flattering at all. I think it's gross. How could anybody think that looks good.Woman that are plump should never wear skin tight clothes. I'm no Twiggy but I would never wear anything that shows my stomach or a roll, baggy is the way to go!! It's not just a guy thing us girls look and notice stuff like that too

I only asked my hubby this the other day. I have nothing against anyone of any size at all but nothing is more off putting than flesh hanging over the top of tight jeans or trousers or a pair of boobs fighting to get out of an ill fitting bra, making it look like the person has 4 boobs instead of 2. Please ladies, buy clothes that fit! If you're that bothered about what size people think you wear-cut the tag out!!!

Sometimes the sizes are right, but the fashions don't make sense for the person's body shape.

Example: I live in a Mediterranean country, where a lot of girls have an hourglass figure with a long body and short legs. But what's all the rage out here ? Skinny jeans!

I swear, you can be a size 2 and you won't look good in that combo.

Just my 2cents.

Have you gone into a womens/teens dept. lately!? I'm a petite person, but they sell the shirts so small these days, I fit into a medium or large. Some of the tight-look is really being crammed down our throats by the fashion industry.
And another thing..womens weight fluxuates a lot more then mens. So last month, those jeans might have looked a lot better on your waitress than they do this month.
Peace~

I agree tight fitting clothes can look fabulous on some people but not the majority I see. Doesn’t matter what type build you have certain clothes will suit better on some builds than others. A friend of mine who is curvy looks great in tighter fitting clothes as baggy clothes make her look bigger.

It irritates me to no end when shopping for clothes. Some clothes have the zippers ruined or the seams strained because some size 12 tried to squeeze into a size 6. I wonder what these women are thinking..... or hoping !

I do agree with you, but clothes sizes these days are alot smaller then they use to be and you find that a lot of women don't like to go up an size it don't matter on what you are, no woman like to amit they have to go an size. Well personally i don't like clothes on me that are to tight as it is uncomfortable to sit down and bend over, but that's just me.
