We all practice censorship to a degree. Example, a friend brought a guest to a party I was throwing. That person made a racist remark. I politely explained that if I heard any thing like that out of their mouth again they would be escorted from my property and never welcome again. I in no way limited their freedom of speech, they can say whatever they want, just not at my house.
Another example, I don't let Jehovah Witnesses come into my home and try to convert me. I have no problem with them preaching on the street corner, but again, this is MY private property.
Now, this board belongs to Yahoo. When a question or answer gets reported, they automatically ding you. If you believe you were within the guidelines, go to the forum and request a review. It has worked for me!
Finally, re questioning a person's IQ, I try to avoid it because although my answer may not influence the asker (is that the right word?) it may influence someone reading the answers. When you start name calling, it turns people off.
Just my 2 cents.

Bro, this happens all the time.
I have had questions pre censored or not posted by yahoo.
I have also been blocked by posters who did not like my answer.
This should not be taken too seriously.

The guidelines can be bent to censor things like that. Just be the bigger person.

Questioning the mental capabilities of a questioner can be considered insulting other members per the TOS.
Even though someone desperately deserves it, you can't do that.

let's examine the case of the person who never gets censored -- do they have any real, heart-felt values??
I'd argue they do not.

Its part of the rules here on Yahoo. I dont think many people know what the "Freedom of Speech" in the constitution actually means anymore

yahoo is not the government, it is a corporation, this website is their private property and you have to agree to their rules to use it... there is no freedom of speech on corporate private property.
