Does anyone know which will happen? I am a big fan and agree with the writers, but also dont want to miss the shows. I heard that they were in the middle of writing an episode where Jim and Pam are invited to Michael and Jans for Dinner. Hilarious. let me know your opinion on the show and the strike and whatever else.

Steve Catrell has said that he will not cross the picket line in support of the striking writers. So until the strike is over the show will not being producing any new episodes.

It's a shame because I personally think it is one of the best on TV and I enjoy watching it. I love that they are real people and they don't all look like supermodels (although both Pam and Karen are smoking hot).

I haven't heard anything about scab writers but agree that it would be a horrible idea. I too love the office and will be upset if it goes into repeats. And I also agree that Jim and Pam and michael and jans for dinner.. that will be amazing!

I heard that production is shut down and there will be no new episodes.(look on youtube for "the office is closed" by wgaamerica http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b6hqP0c0_gw) I wouldn't want scab writers. They will just make it awful. If they aren't good enough to be in the writers union, they shouldn't be good enough to write the shows. I don't want the office to be ruined. Plus, a lot of the stars are also writers .Steve Carell is a WGA member and he wouldn't cross the picket lines. Many of the others called in sick because they did not want to cross the picket lines that their cast mates were on. How do you make "the office" without the stars?

None of the networks are planning to use scab writers on any of their scripted shows.
