Lets remind ourselves, old siggy spent much of his time out of his tree on what we would call hard drugs
Then lets go on and say he came up with some interesting ideas that cannot easily dismissed.
His theories were entirely environmental - no genetics.
Our behaviour is based on our previous life experiences.
Life experiences do not have to be in conscious mind to affect behaviour.
Most of the talking cures owe their roots to old siggy.

The man seemed to have a sexual response to any and everything. Oedipus and Electra complexes were his common retort to everything. I think he was very intelligent but just a bit twisted.

I think he had some valid ideas, but VERY few. He mostly used the shock value of radical theories to get attention. He was his own PR man.
