Most people including myself find that we are way over our heads in debt and would opt if we had the money to spend ourselves to spend at least a part to ease our situation or improve our housing. Many of us would also like to be able to give a small portion to some sort of good works (charity or at this time of year to toys for tots). (I myself would probably use it to pay bills and to go to see my current love and her daughter who live a long distance from me (1/2 way around the world).)
However if the 4000 was to be spent on other than myself and to be used for charitable purposes I would opt to spend it in a place where it would have the most benefit in the long term giving it to an organization such as a trust fund to the bank that gives money to people in developing countries to fund individuals wishing to start a business or buy inventory or grain and repay the loan. The repaid loan money would go into the trust to fund another individual or individuals and hopefully continue to grow in both the benefits produced by the loan to the individuals loaned the money and with the repaid money to new individuals able to be helped. I would also stipulate that a portion or percentage of the repaid money when it reaches a certain level be used for a not to be repaid community project in a place that would benefit from it such as a well for water, a sewage drainage system or some similar project that would improve the health and or safety of a community or individual in need.

Well being as though you choose to share this with me, I feel compelled to bless someone else. I adopted 3 children for the clothes and toy drive at my job. So I'd get them a coat, clothes and some toys from their wish list. That'd be about $300. $200 I'd spend on family Christmas stuff. I'd take $500 and go shopping for myself because I havent bought anything for myself in a while. You can have $500 too and the rest can go to a portion of the creditors I need to pay. Thanks!

Donate half, use the other half to buy me a limited edition Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core PSP, a PS3, a Wii, and use the leftovers to buy new games... =)

We'd go shopping for a new computer, phone or whatever we needed. Then we'd go to Six Flags and ride the rides until we got sick. Then we'd eat at one of those fancy resturants. Whatever's left we'd half and do with it what ever each one of us pleased.

well, we couldn't but a car. or a house. or a boat. it's not enough to pay off my debt. maybe we could just go on a trip somewhere. but we couldn't go too far. and we'd probably have to watch where we stayed.
i say, let's invest and then when it's 4,000,000 we'll talk about what to do.
