I think it should be lowered to 16. And yes most teens are immature but that probably means they wont vote even if they can, but for the ones that want to have input then why not?

I believe they should because when it's when they are 16, 17 they want to participate and do something but when the politicians don't want to hear what your saying as a young person you get discouraged which is why I feel the voting numbers are so low for ppl under the age of 25.

ok, I hear your sway interior the question. you like the little ones to be waiting to vote. In my time you had to be 21 to vote; then we replaced it to 18 and now the assumption is to bypass decrease; so as that brings a sparkling question how low to you bypass; if a 14 3 hundred and sixty 5 days previous is working and paying taxes ought to they be allowed to vote. according to threat. yet, you apart from mght ought to evaluate; do those youthful than 18 have the adulthood to understand subject concerns? adulthood and records are 2 varied issues. Oh specific, they think of they understand yet all of us understand that with years and adventure we've made extra logical rather of emotional judgements. maximum, youth I meet are actually not interior the least drawn to international activities till they'll get a grade out of it. I accept as true with you even nevertheless that there are various person electorate who lack understanding of the subject concerns. and particularly some adults lack the interest to even use their privilege to bypass out and vote. So, sure i think of all of us who works and pays taxes, could be pronounced as to bypass to conflict or has the will must be allowed to vote and extra potential to them. I isn't satisfied whilst they arrive to a call to run Sanjay for president yet i'm going to recover from it! Granny

No if anything it should be raised to at least 20 or 21! Seems like kids that are 18 years old today are quite a bit more immature than they were 20 years ago...

No,
If you arent old enough to defend your country you shouldnt be able to vote. Wheater you join the military or not.
Also dont say drinking age because you can drink at 18 in the service. (on Base or overseas)
Most young people base their info on emotion. and dreams off utopia, not reality.
