Rumors are circulating out of San Diego that Philip Rivers walked into GM AJ Smith's office and demanded that he do what it takes to convince Keyshawn to play for the Bolts. Rivers is fed up with the lack of production from his WR core and believes Keyshawn would fit right in.

Rivers may have a point but I'm not sure if Keyshawn is the answer. Rivers should be demanding to bring back Martyball so maybe the Bolts could get it together and play as a team again.

Just a rumor? Even if is true, Keyshawn is washed up. No more recyclers please. V. Jackson has been a bit of a bust, but Chambers has been there and Rivers has missed him on numerous occasions. Rivers already has an all-pro reciever in A. Gates, but can't seem to get the plays called to get him the ball. I hope Rivers doesn't end up ordering cheese with that whine.

If this is true than Rivers is an idiot. He is the reason for the lack of Production from his WRs. He can't read the field and he only tries to throw to Gates even when he is triple covered. V-Jack is 6'5 or something, so he could run fades all day, and Chambers has great hands. If he can't produce with those 2, why would he do any better with Key who hasn't even played this year.

Rivers is one of the worst QBs in the league in my opinion. Too much talent on that team for him not to succeed.

Uhh, how about he starts being a good qb?

Keyshawn is old and isn't any different from the other two big receivers they already have on the team.

The chargers already have Gates (most productive TE in the NFL), Tomlinson (best RB in the NFL), and they just signed Chambers. The lack of production doesn't fall on their shoulders....

I wish Carolina never gave him up.

Hower Rivers can sit his butt back down and stop demanding things. Keyshawn is too busy interviewing people anyway.

What good would it do for a team to get a good receiver when their QB can't even get the receivers the ball? If not for LT, the Chargers would be battling Miami for the bottom spot in the AFC.

How would he "get him the damn ball" though? LOL
I think Keyshawn should do more hard hitting interviews - NOT!
