If you think you may be expecting, there are definite signs of pregnancy to be looking for. In the first few weeks, there's no way to be positive (at least this early on) that you're pregnant, short of a BFP (big fat positive) on a home pregnancy test, Still, there are plenty of signs of pregnancy that can give you a hint. If you find yourself saying one or more of these things, you should be thinking pregnancy (and running out to the store for a home pregnancy test):
"Ouch! Don't touch my breasts!" Tender breasts and nipples — and I'm talking tender — is one of the first signs of pregnancy many women notice after they conceive. As early as a few days after conception, your breasts may feel full, swollen, and painful to the touch — similar to the feeling you may experience before you get your period but probably a little more pronounced. Make that a lot more pronounced.
"Holy dark areolas, Batman!" Not only are your breasts tender, but now it looks like they're changing colors before your eyes! Don't worry — and don't run out to get your eyes checked. A normal sign of pregnancy is for the area around the nipple (a.k.a. the areola) to darken in hue during pregnancy and even to increase in diameter somewhat. The color change can start as early as a week or two after conception, due to the pregnancy hormones surging through your body. You may also notice an increase and enlargement in the tiny bumps on the areola (called Montgomery's tubercles, in case you need to know).
"What's that spot on my underwear?" Some women experience implantation bleeding when — you guessed it — the embryo implants in the uterus. Scanter than a period (and earlier than your expected monthly flow — around five to ten days after conception), implantation bleeding is a sign of pregnancy, completely normal. It's usually light to medium pink in color (not red, like a period) and is spotty.
"Why am I running to the bathroom?" The need to pee at an alarming frequency is a symptom of pregnancy that appears on the scene pretty early — usually about two to three weeks after conception.
"Why am I so exhausted?." You're heading for bed, and not for sex. Extreme fatigue — make that exhaustion — is a telltale sign of pregnancy, due in part to the surging hormones in your body. Not to mention all the work your body is doing to jump-start the making-a-baby process.
"I think I'm gonna puke." Another reason to move into the bathroom, unfortunately. Nausea and vomiting — those hallmark signs of pregnancy — can unfortunately strike a newly pregnant woman pretty early in her pregnancy (though it's more likely to begin around week six).
"What's that I smell — and why does it smell so strong?" Do you smell what's on the menu before you've even opened it? Believe it or not, one of the first signs of pregnancy is an increased sensitivity to odors. It could be because of the increasing amount of estrogen in your system during early pregnancy.
"Why am I so bloated?." Do you have that bloated feeling? You may not be able to differentiate between a preperiod bloat and a pregnancy bloat, but that bloated feeling is an early sign of pregnancy. Whoopee cushion anyone?
"I'm late." No, not for a meeting (though that may happen, too, with all these symptoms getting you distracted). If you've missed a period (especially if your periods generally run like clockwork), you may already be suspecting pregnancy — even before a pregnancy test confirms it.
"It says I'm pregnant!" The proof is positive (or, at least, 99 percent positive) on that pregnancy test you can take as early as four days before you expect your period (depending on the brand — though the results will be more positive if you wait until P-day to test). Whether it's a blue or pink line, a positive sign, or a digital readout, if that home pregnancy test says you're expecting — expect some major changes in your body and life during the next nine months (and beyond).
If all signs point to yes, then a hearty congratulations to you!

OK I have to say people telling other people it's "too early" to be experiencing any symptoms is just ridiculous. Since every pregnancy is different, no one can say it's "too early" to be feeling what your feeling.
I've been pregnant 2 times, and have 1 child. I can't even really remember my first pregnancy (lasted only 6 weeks). I can't remember why I tested or anything. But I do remember that when I tested I would've only been about 3 weeks pregnant since I lost the baby at 6 weeks, and I had taken the test about 3 weeks prior. I'm assuming I took it because I was late. I had a very faint positive line.
With my second pregnancy, the only reason I took a test was because I was late. However, in hind sight, I had pregnancy symptoms at least 2 weeks before I was even due for my period. But my PMS symptoms at the time were exactly what pregnancy symptoms are, so I just assumed my period was coming and thought nothing of it. I'm very regular, and when my period didn't show, but I was still having all my normal PMS symptoms, I took a test, and got a BFP. By the time I was able to see the doc, I was 8 weeks 4 days. Which means when I took the test I was only about 4 weeks pregnant. Which means I was having symptoms when I was 2 weeks. I didn't start getting the sensitivity to smell though until I was about 6 weeks pregnant. My PMS usually starts a week before my period is due. All my PMS symptoms are like being on my period, except no bleeding. Acutally PMS is worse than the actual period itself. Once period comes, bloating goes away, cramps stop on the second day, and my periods only last 3-4 days, and are only "heavy" the second day. Other than that, they are reg. to light.
So to tell someone that it's too early to be experiencing any symptoms is just crazy.
All you can do it wait for your period to be late. If it's late, and you're still getting a negative result, make an appointment with the doctor, or go to a Planned Parenthood. No one can tell you anything over the web because they don't know your body and what is considered normal for you. Sure they can tell you their own personal experience, but it should be taken with a grain of salt.
If something is not right and you know it, go to the doctor. I understand coming online and posting what's wrong to see if soemone may have had the same experience, and that is all fine. But still no matter what always take it with a grain of salt.

You wouldn't be having symptoms 4-5 days after sex. Assuming that there was an egg, and it got fertilized (big ifs), it hasn't even had time to implant.

So there are a few possibilities:

1. You were already pregnant before the 8th, and didn't know it.

2. You're not pregnant, but picked up an infection of some kind, like a urinary tract infection.

3. You're ovulating (left side pain) and there's a chance you could still become pregnant, if there are any sperm still alive in you.

4. You are magnifying the symptoms you have from (2) or (3), out of stress.

I doubt you are pregnant since you had sex during your period and you even if you are pregnant you don't feel symptoms right away. I was 7 weeks before the real symptoms came in. Also, I never spotted with either pregnancy. Relax and you are 32 years old, go get a pregnancy test, don't test yet because it would probably be negative.

When you become pregnant morning sickness will occur around your 2nd to 3rd month along. You can always buy a test but chances are that you aren't pregnant but anything is possible. My periods are irregular as well and I experience the same things you do but then everything is fine.Just didn't get your hopes up.If you are trying to conceive then it may be just because you are trying to hard and your body wants to make you think that you are.My sister just went through this a few years ago.

If you are concerned about being pregnant then I don't you use some protection?? I don't understand women. its just plain crazy. Don't want a baby then don't have unprotected sex. We preach this to out kids and here you are a 32 yr old, geeeeeeeesh.

I doubt you're pregnant. It's too soon for all of those symptoms. I would suggest going to the doctor though, it could be something else.
