I'm in the good old USA and Thanksgiving is a big deal here. I'll be cooking the traditional turkey, dressing, pumpkin pie, etc. dinner for my family. I know some of the other people on YA are from other countries. I was curious about what all of you have planned for Turkey Day.

Harley... I wish you could come over and have dinner with us! Don't be alone unless you just prefer it that way. Many churches open have wonderful Thanksgiving dinners that are FREE and they welcome everyone.

I am going camping for the entire weekend. My family will be celebrating up in Illinois, but since I live in Florida and can't afford to fly back this time, I will be doing something I enjoy.

USA, also.

Each year some friends of mine have a pitchin at Thanksgiving. There are usually 20 - 40 people. I'm doing the rolls this year, you all know how I love to bake, so this is a labor of love. And, I probably will end up doing one of my Carrot Cakes, too.

Then later, one of my newer friends is having a small bunch of us over for dinner and the football game. Not sure what I'm going to do for that one, but something good.

I have family here and they will be in attendance for the first dinner. We've been doing this for years.
Harley Lady, wish you could be with us, I know you would really enjoy it.

Sure wish some of us lived closer together, what a Thanksgiving dinner and party that would be!

We are going out for a Thanksgiving buffet at a nice hotel
which has a lovely restaurant. It's an annual event. Good because the food is excellent, we can get what we want, and no one has to cook. They do have turkey and all the trimmings, but other things also. Then we are going to the home of my nephew and his wife on Saturday. I'm making lasagna. Lots of fun. I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday.

Monday I'm flying out to Las Vegas where I will rent a car and drive to Laughlin, NV. Friends have their motor home there. Will spend some time doing outdoor things around the Colorado River. I'll see a couple of shows, gamble a little, of course. On Thanksgiving we will eat a lot at a good buffet, visit and play with their 3 dogs. Two of the dogs are Brussels Griffons they bought from me. One is a new puppy that I can't wait to see how she has grown in the 3 weeks since she left my home. Lots of laughter, jokes, good friendly conversation and a few drinks.

We will be having our Thanksgiving dinner at my sisters home this year. My son has volunteered to cook the turkey and make gravy. That was a shock to us since he is not famous for his cooking abilities! That is about all that we have planned so far. There will be between 7 to 11 people for dinner.

Live in Arkansas & I will be spending time with my wonderful family. I know I will be making a few pies that morning too. That night My mom & I will start a snowy looking puzzle & we all gather in the living room that night for junk food & games because by the end on the day we have had enough turkey & just want to snack on junk food.

No plans, but a neighbor gave me some really tasty venison and I may do something with that. I have sweet potatoes and potatoes, also gravy and cranberry sauce. My family all live at a great distance. A local church may be putting on their annual dinner; so may go to that. I live in the Pacific NW. You all have a GREAT day!

Cooking for the kids who live in town.
Turkey, Ham, Dressing etc. They will all then go to other family for another meal while we nap, watch football and I read.
The lady going to Savannah should eat at Lady and Sons...excellent food. One of my daughters will be there as she is daughter in law to Paula Deen. But then when all the guys go hunting she will come down to spend Friday and Saturday with us. She is pregnant and we need to take her and another pregnant daughter to get a few maternity outfits.

I'm cooking dinner for a few friends who don't have families. My guy is flying to another state to see his mother. I was invited, but can't stand his sister. I've come to a point in my life where I avoid people who upset me.

I am doing a dinner for us this weekend.
