Try these for those who oppose immigration:

1. There are enough people here already! It's crowded enough and we don't need anymore immigrants.
2. More immigration will lead to over population and will destroy the environment, turning "America the Beautiful" into another Third World toilet.
3. Increasing diversity will lead to fragmentation and the destruction of national unity.
4. America will go broke trying to care for unlimited immigrants.

Those favoring open immigration might say:

1. America is a land of immigrants. It was built by immigration.
2. People opposed to immigration are racists or worse.
3. We need immigrants to do the jobs Americans don't want to do for low pay.
4. America is a big place where there is room for all (ah, unless your looking for a parking place)!

Why not ask your question about Immigration in the Immigration category in the Politics & Government category?

Is this really a "histoy" question?
